The internal scholarship program is managed entirely by Foundation staff and grant awards are determined by the Board of Trustees at regular second quarter meetings.

The Foundation provides scholarship based on financial need and academic achievement to help students fund tuition and books, as well as room and board. Scholarship checks are sent directly from the foundation’s office to the student support office of the student’s choice at the university.

Priority will be given to residents of certain counties in Georgia and South Carolina. While standardized test scores reflect not only academic achievement, the Scholarship Committee will not consider SAT or ACT scores when evaluating applications.

Students need to create an account in order to login and use the application. Make sure to mention your name prior to writing an application for a letter of recommendation.

Go back to the main menu and select “Add or Edit Recommendation Requests”.

Follow the instructions to complete the form to request a recommendation. Be sure to fill out your “Personal Message from Student” which contains your full name, your request and the contact details for the person authorizing your recommendation.

To submit a complete scholarship application applicants are required to submit two letter of recommendations.
